HP Touchpad Coming in September for $499?
PC Magazine: The 10-inch editon of the HP Touchpad should go for $499 to $599, according to a new report.
"The report cites an internal report released by a "major retailer" within the United States, preparing their employees for a rollout later this year. On it is listed, the site claims, the times and estimated shipping months for several tablets from Dell, HP, Samsung, and others."
"The most significant addition, of course, is the Touchpad, launched by HP in February alongside the HP Veer phone and Pre3."The TouchPad is all about you how you want to work, how you want to play, how you want to connect to things you value most," Jon Rubenstein, head of HP's mobility group, said during a launch event in San Francisco (see slideshow). He touted the device's speed. "No one comes close to replicating our WebOS experience," he said."
