Sprint May Share Network with LightSquared, Clearwire
Mobile Burn: Report says Sprint is in late-stages talks with Clearwire and LightSquared about network sharing agreements.
"According to sources quoted by the Wall Street Journal, Sprint is in late-stages talks with Clearwire and LightSquared about network sharing agreements. The agreements would allow the smaller carriers to expand their footprints without having to build networks of their own, while giving Sprint a new source of revenue and access to more spectrum."
